Experience rich cultures on a backdrop of deep spirituality and religious extremes. This three video series focuses on the main holy sites, key Roman & Crusader remnants and a Biblical northern region.
This video focuses on Jerusalem and Bethlehem specifically. The key sites visited include the Western Wall, the Dome of the Rock, the Stations of the Cross, the Church of the Holy Sepulchre, the site of the Last Supper, the Church of the Nativity and the Holocaust museum.
The knowledgable tour guides share stories and history about each of the sites and walk you through a spiritual journey across the centre of the Holy Land.
This video focuses on the history and culture along the Israel Coast. This region offers a combination of Roman, Crusader and Ottoman history, often layered upon one another. The different cities each offer breathtaking views of the coast and cultural treasures along the shores.
The first location featured is Caesarea, the site of old Roman city with vast ruins to explore. Further north, we visited Haifa and experienced the breathtaking views from the Bahai Gardens. Continuing northward, we visited Acre (or Akko) and the grottoes at Rosh HaNikra.
This video focuses on the birth of the Christian tradition in the north of Israel. Starting in the city of Nazareth and continuing to the Sea of Galilee and the River Jordan, this adventure followed the places of Jesus’ youth as written in the Christian Bible.
In each of the destinations, a strong combination of historic ruins and modern facilities for worship exists and creates the bridge between the old world and the new. Regardless of your spiritual beliefs, these locations offer a glimpse into historic events that shaped the evolution of human culture.
